George III Secretaire Breakfront Bookcase We believe no piece of furniture bears witness to a refined presence in a home as a formal bookcase does. The whole piece is enclosed by doors which have astragal glazing bars with individually cut panes and are exquisitely decorated with mahogany veneers. The projecting lower part is fitted with a secretaire drawer which incorporates a stepped satinwood interior with drawers lined in cedarwood and with simulated ivory knobs.
